The Jacomo Chorale has been serving the cultural and artistic needs of Jackson County and the surrounding area since 1983

 Chorale Manager

Now in her 22nd year with the Jacomo Chorale, manager Nancy White has become a vocal advocate of the new Jacomo Chorale and its mission to become better known in the community.  Nancy hails from Massillon, Ohio.  She moved to the greater Kansas City area in 1988.  Shortly thereafter, she began voice lessons with then Jacomo Chorale director Jeffrey Carter.  This musical outlet known as the Jacomo Chorale was just the lure for White. 

Nancy has performed with the Canton (Ohio) Civic Opera Company, Inc and held lead roles in Plain and Fancy and served as soloist at Church of the Savior United Methodist (a Presidential Church).  While in Kansas City, she studied voice with Jennifer Kittinger, Kelly Etter, and Sarah Tannehill.  She performed as alto soloist with the Kansas City Messiah Singalong at Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Kansas City Kansas Community College, and the Jacomo Chorale.  She also appeared in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony as the alto soloist with the Kansas City Philharmonia.  

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Friends University of Wichita, Kansas.  She also hold an Associate of Arts degree from Metropolitan Community Colleges.  Nancy is the mother of two.  Daniel, age 25 and Kiersten age 19.  She is currently employed at Graceland University Global Campus in Independence, Missouri as an Admissions Coordinator.

Weekly Rehearsals

Rehearsal times will be Thursdays from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm weekly.  We meet at the Mission Woods Community of Christ building on Duncan Rd in Blue Springs.  Click here for directions.
